Several requirements are necessary for the Cenex Total Protection Plan warranty to be transferred to a new operator:
- There must be more than 12 months remaining in the warranty term.
- The new operator must own (or lease) and operate the warrantied agricultural equipment within the CHS Energy trade territory.
- A request to transfer an existing warranty must be completed online within 30 days of acquisition.
- The new operator must fully comply with obligations outlined in the Agreement of Responsibility found in the online Equipment Warranty Transfer Request.
-
- Contact the distributor where you purchased Cenex products used in the covered equipment. - Submit a used oil sample using a LubeScan Used Oil Analysis kit. For fuel related claims, submit a fuel sample using a fuel kit container. Samples must be submitted before repair work is initiated.
- Retain all replaced parts as CHS Technical Services may inspect failed or replaced parts during the claims review process.
- Repaired components must be refilled with Cenex Covered Fluids to ensure continued warranty coverage.
- The warranty holder must submit an invoice for the work completed within 90 days from final invoice date.
